Groundwater Monitoring Programs

Kropp’s staﬀ are experts at designing and conducting a variety of groundwater monitoring programs. We can formulate a groundwater sampling plan that allows the client to monitor the attenuation of contaminants at their property via natural chemical, physical, or microbial processes or one that enables them to document compliance with Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Remediation Standard Regulations following remediation of their site. Each plan is designed to meet each client’s monitoring objectives and satisfy regulatory agencies reviewing the monitoring results. We are also equipped to conduct long-term monitoring at solid-waste disposal facilities such as municipal landﬁlls and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) hazardous waste facilities at which hazardous waste will remain onsite. Additionally, our staﬀ has conducted sampling programs to monitor the eﬀectiveness of engineered controls in preventing the migration of contaminants from soil to groundwater.
